However, they start with four moves to maximize the chances of a workable moveset appearing and they tend to learn moves of their types. Pokémon have their types, statsets and movesets randomized.This takes Pokémon mastery to new heights. My useless knowledge is left at the door. Fissure could be a majestic power belonging to bug-types.Īnything can happen. Fire Punch could suddenly be a very cool ice-type move. Say, a ground-type Magikarp evolves into a now physically inclined ground/flying Alakazam. The Pokémon themselves are also the most eldritch of abominations, changing type, evolutions, and statset. Random Pokémon appear in different spots, sometimes in the hands of ridiculously labelled trainers.
Basically, the aforementioned Randomizer messes with Pokémon and trainers on so many levels. To get back on track, "Randomized Pokémon" may not be the best description, nor is it one that does this madness justice.
I could also call it Chaos Emerald, but that pun is so good it's probably already made. Maybe I'll stream some of it at certain points. Anyway, I decided to make a Let's Play topic of it here. Some of you already saw initial results in chat. I downloaded the Universal Pokemon Randomizer and got cracking with Pokémon Emerald. So yesterday, I watched some Randomized Pokémon vids, and my curiosity overtook me.
